It is a particularly versatile grass-like plant for the foreground. Prefers cooler water, but grows perfectly in warmer temperatures. Lateral runners shoot up, over time, to create a thick carpet of plants. When bedding plants grown in an emergent state, we recommend cutting them back and dividing any dense plantings. Plant the cut stock at 5 cm intervals. The first submerged blades will appear after only a few days.
