Red Sea Reef Foundation C (Mg) 1000 ml
All the elements found in natural seawater play a role in providing optimal water parameters, but some are more important than others. The three main elements: calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg) and carbonates (CO3). All three have a significant effect on water chemistry (pH stability, alkalinity, ionic strength) and on many of the biological processes of corals (skeleton formation, ion exchange, photosynthesis). The essential elements complement each other in the formation of the coral skeleton.
If not balanced properly one of the elements will quickly limit the healthy growth of corals.
