Preis Bora-Bora Sand 3kg
Bora Bora Sand is a very thin white substrate of calcium and magnesium compounds, ideal for saltwater aquariums. We recommend a height of 2-3 cm. At this height, debris can rotate when the current is good and nitrate accumulations in the soil are avoided. Also ideal for mixing for DSB filter systems. here the substrate must be at least 8cm - 20cm. Bora Bora sand is made from very clean stony material that does not emit nitrates, phosphates or silicates. Bora Bora sand has a very high ratio of calcium and magnesium and enriches the water with carbonate hardness. After about 1 year of operation, you will need to refill about 10% Bora Bora sand. This is the amount that dissolves in calcium, magnesium and carbonate hardness. Mollusks such as anemones, roller roses, pipe worms, sea feathers and wrasse want to dig their way through this beautiful Bora Bora sand. Gobies can chew this sand very well and dig burrows. Bora Bora sand corresponds to the natural environment on the coral reef and therefore contributes significantly to a well-functioning habitat. ...More
