Utricularia graminifolia is an elegant, pale green foreground plant. In aquariums this plant needs moderate light to gradually produce a thick but very short carpet. Utricularia has some unique features: it is a carnivorous plant and produces special traps to capture passing microorganisms. However, fish and shrimp are perfectly safe.
