Rotala wallichii is a particularly delicate and slender stem plant. It has been known to aquatics for quite a while, but due to its high demands it is only suited for true plant lovers. High light intensity and an ideal supply of nutrients as well as a high supply of CO2 are a must. Clear water is also crucial for this filigree stem plant. Under good conditions, Rotala wallichii will display an impressive blaze of colours in all hues of Red and Pink. In Aquascaping, this plant is often used when wanting to add a splash of colour to the aquarium.
