Used in conjunction with MicroBacter7, it creates and develops biological filtration by providing critical nutrients in specific forms and proportions.

Dose with FaStart-M as necessary to maintain nitrates and phosphates in a range of 3 - 5 ppm and 0.01 - 0.03 ppm, respectively. The daily dose will encourage the most consistent concentration of available nutrients in any aquarium system. Start with 5 ml per 100 US-gallons (378.5 L) of aquarium water and adjust the dosage according to nutrient concentrations. When reducing the aquarium bioload, increase the normal dose by 10% and continue the normal dose until the nutrient concentrations have stabilized within the desired limits.
