Aquavitro Balance 350 ml
A common phenomenon in reef systems is low pH when calcium and alkalinity are at optimal levels One of the main reasons for this is an improper carbonate/bicarbonate ratio. The buffer ratio changes as a natural consequence of the ability of the buffer to neutralize sources of acidification such as organic acids (produced naturally from wastes) or introduced from non-pH controlled farm products. The first product of its kind, Balance™ ends this phenomenon. It restores this ratio by converting bicarbonate to carbonate in order to re-establish a higher pH without affecting the calcium level. ...More
balance™ is intended to be used to increase pH when all other parameters (alkalinity, calcium, magnesium) are at optimal levels, but pH is still low. The amount of balance™ required to raise the pH to the desired level will vary widely, depending on the buffering capacity and water quality of your tank. For reference only, 5 mL will raise 55 L (15 US gallons) of saltwater by approximately 0.1 pH units.
Add balance™ in small increments and check the pH after at least 3 minutes before adding further increments.
