Lagenandra meeboldii is a very versatile species and the 'Green' variety is a lovely colored plant for the middle of the aquarium. Until now most species of the genus Lagenandra have been unsuitable for aquariums, however this new plant from India does remarkably well in an underwater landscape. Here they also form a strong rhizome like Anubias, but must be planted in the substrate.
