Nature4Pets Banana Leaves 20pcs 3-6x15-20cm
Banana leaves are not yet very well known, but they are already widely used for the treatment and prevention of diseases in aquariums. Banana leaves (unlike Catappa) provide more intense colors to fish. They release tannin and other elements into the water that improve the health of the fish and reduce PH levels. Small fish like to hide and spend a lot of time in and around these leaves! Also during shrimp breeding, the leaves have a positive effect. Due to the antifungal effect, the eggs are less likely to mold. ...More
We recommend 1 leaf per 5 liters of aquarium water. The leaves color the water, so the more leaves you add, the darker the water. After 48 to 72 hours the leaves will sink to the bottom. The operating time is between 2 and 3 weeks, after which it will slowly decompose. Shrimp, lobsters and snails will eat the leaves which promotes their natural diet. The rotted leaves can eventually be removed.
